#1 Way to Burn Fat FAST!
Burning fat in the quickest way possible is what we are always looking for, right? HIIT, or High Intensity Interval Training, is the secret weapon you never knew you needed.
OK, so now you know what it stands for! What does HIIT actually mean?
HIIT is a form of interval training that involves short bursts of max-intensity, anaerobic exercises, followed by less intense rest periods.
Although there is no specific cookie cutter HIIT routine, they typically last around 30 minutes.
So, why would you want to try this? After a HIIT workout, your body will continue to burn more calories than it would after a lower impact, steady state exercise, such as walking or jogging. Not only that, but HIIT workouts cause a spike in two key hormones: epinephrine and norepinephrine, which play an important role in fat loss. These two hormones (sometimes referred to as adrenaline and noradrenaline: the fight or flight hormones) are responsible for driving lipolysis, which is the breakdown of fat.
Also, a huge benefit of HIIT in my opinion is that you work out for a shorter duration of time and yield better results. Seems like a no brainer to me!
My personal favorite HIIT exercise to do is treadmill sprints. After warming up, I complete a series of sprints and walks, 30 seconds on 30 seconds off for 15 minutes. The walking or “off” portion is around 3.5 MPH and the sprints are round 9 MPH!
Here is a easy-to-follow formula to design your own basic HIIT workout! You can use this time and time again to build routines to keep it interesting and fun!

If you gave this a try I would love to hear from you!
