Spiral of Success

It often seems that successful people continue to run in to more and more success. This has something to do with what I call the spiral of success or a more common term, “a snow ball effect.”

Success does not just appear. It’s a result of long, grueling years of hard work, dedication, joys, tears, passion, and inspiration. Only after that does your hard work become recognized and your reputation builds. No one sees the years you spent grinding every day in silence, they can always see your triumphs and may consider you “lucky.” People love instant gratification and a lot of the time, expect it.

If you’re one of those people, click that little x at the top of your screen because this is not the blog for you. Maybe one comprised of unicorns and magical shit is better suited.

If you’re still here, thank you, because you are one of the VERY few people who understand that hard work is the only way to longevity and accomplishing your dreams. SHIT DOES NOT JUST HAPPEN. No one will ever come to you with a manual on how to achieve your dreams. If you do not act on it, your life will just past you by. Rest assured the time will pass by anyway, so you might as well spend it hustling toward everything you desire.

The purpose of this blog was to help you begin your spiral of success. No, I’m no guru or know it all but what I do know is when I took my hustle to the next level, made positive changes in my life, and began being grateful for the things I do have, my whole life started changing. So, if this can help light one fire it’s worth it.

Start with habit building. Just one. Changing 37 habits at once isn’t going to work. Start with one, conquer it, show it who’s boss, and then go after another. The confidence and positivity that can come out of the feeling of being in control of your life and future is so powerful.

Find likeminded people. People with drive are attracted to the hustle and dedication. Surround yourself with those people and sometimes you’ll have to walk away from other. Humans mentality feed on those who are around them. If you work in an office with an unhappy pessimist, you may find yourself going home every day feeling unhappy. I know I did.

We have all had experiences good and bad. So, why would you ever let the bad experiences dictate whether you’ll experience more good ones. Sounds kind of dumb, right? No one gets to choose the hand that their dealt but what they do get to choose is how they react and how they choose to move forward.

There is a statement from a beautiful soul that truly inspires me. She is one of those humans that have a fire, a drive, knows exactly what she wants, and NO ONE will ever, ever stand in her way. Mark my words, she will change this world.

Taylor wrote,

“I want to take a moment to talk about what inspires me. We often spend so much time existing that we forget how to live. What inspires me? Living. Living inspires me. Hurting inspires me. Breathing inspires me. Cute animals, wild souls, humans being good to each other, people being brave, passion inspires me.”

This was so raw. SO REAL. We often feel things but have difficulty finding the words to describe them. Usually people think inspiration is only found in the good times, the easy times, and when everything is going right. To me, passion and inspiration not only comes from these things but from hurting and difficult times, or when the biggest fucking mountain is in my way. These things have shaped me into person I am, and sometimes at my darkest moments, I have had the most revolutionary feelings and thoughts. My desire to conquer what I thought was my best self keeps me pressing forward.

Like I said, I am no guru. If you need a serious reality check, I HIGHLY recommend following Gary Vaynerchuk. You will often find a lot of what I say falls in line with his thoughts as well. You know, some people are just born with a fire and this guy lights my soul! Sure, he’s bold and a lot of people hate on him for it, but more people hate on him because he dishes out nothing but the truth. He has not one fuck that is sugar coated.

Find your passion, find your fire, break free and embrace your soul.
